The Challenge

RBC Ventures needed to validate a complex idea: converting raw financial transaction strings into actionable ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) data to help users understand their environmental impact.

Our Solution

We built the "MER" (Merchant Emissions Resolution) pipeline using Google Natural Language API to parse transactions and delivered a React Native mobile app to visualize the data for users.
